Shipping Calculator doesn't calculate!

I've tried setting up my shipping options to calculate according to weight.  I've assigned two options priority and standard shipping.  I've entered the weight of all of my products.  When checking out a button appears that asks the customer to enter the zip code for their shipping address, but then it always calculates the item at $0.00.  Very frustrating.

I also tried changing it so that each item had a static shipping cost associated with it, but when I tried to check out using that method, it still didn't work.

Any feedback would be fabulous!

Cheers.

go into your shipping calculator you have saved in your profile, make sure the box is not checked that says something about using the profile or button settings instead of these shipping calculations.  its on the page after you enter the amounts/values and shipping method.

Hi ballinthejack, and welcome to the forums!

If you go to Profile > My selling tools > Shipping my items, you will see Shipping calculations.

I hope this helps!

Thanks for your responses.  It turns out that it WAS working, but because I have a shipping option that is Pick-Up with a cost of $0.00 that is what shows on the first page where you are asked to give your zip code.  Later in the transaction it gives you the option to choose which type of shipping you want and then calculates accordingly.  This is annoying because I would rather that the default calculation give the standard shipping costs rather than $0.00.  But at least all my options are available.

So if anyone knows how I can make the default calculation be set to my Standard Shipping Calculation that would be sweet, but if not, I will begrudgingly move foreword.

Cheers,
