i sent someone $300 through paypal as a gift and wanted to get it back. is this protected the same way as if i paid them through an ebay auction or am i out of luck?
Payments sent as gifts, are not protected by our Buyer Protection, due to the fact that there is no purchase made with a gift. If you need a refund for this payment it will have to be initiated by the person whom you sent the gift.
