Is Paypal a safe way to put a deposit on a vacation condo?

I found a condo online I want to rent for a week. I wanted to know if I use paypal to pay for it will I be protected against fraud incase this turns out bad. (like the condo not real or isn't even his or he never sends me keys)

I wouldn't - a deposit on rental could be considered a virtual item and you have no protection for that.

 

Use a credit card, one that will protect you.

I have the same question if you dont mind me asking who were you supposed to send the money to, Im kind of skeptical of sending my deposit

 I decided to link my paypal to a credit card so I can file a complaint with the cc company if things go bad.

Yes, I like that choice - you should ALWAYS pay with a credit card.  It gives you extra protection.
