INSTANT PAYMENT NOT DIRECT DEBIT?

HI

Everytime I purchase something using paypal the payment doesnt come out my bank account straight away, it comes out randomly by direct debit.

I dont want a direct debit, I want the payment to come out instantly.

I paid for three items today, how do i know how much & when the payments will go out?

& how do i make instant payments in future...?
