text for payment recieved but not showing on account balance

Could you please advise how i go about resolving this issue. been send money and recieved text saying money has been sent and followed the link that takes me to paypal username and my password. put in the details and get confirmation that money has been recieved but does not reflect on my paypal account balance

Hello there,

Thank you for your post and welcome to the community!

If you were sent an amount to your phone number, it may be that you will have to accept the payment manually. To do this, you have to make sure that your phone number has been correctly added to your PayPal account. 

You can check this from the settings of your PayPal account profile. Once your phone number has been confirmed, you should be able to see the option to accept and claim the payment.
