sending money to a friend

I have sent money to a friend last night,  using his email addy,,, he has received an email and when it said claim your money it does nothing,, i have checked paypal and it says that the money is still pendinga nd waiting for him to collect,, but his end it wont let him collect,,, what do we do,, i do not wnat to cancel in case the money goes out twice when i pay him again

Firstly how did you send the money??

Which option did you choose ie send money > friends / family??

Secondly what does it say next to the transaction in YOUR paypal account?

1. Completed.

2. Unclaimed.

3. Unclaimed with a cancel option?
