It's quite clear from the fee section that it is free to receive monies "It’s free to use PayPal to send or receive money.....".
Subject to "Free when funded by the sender’s PayPal balance, bank account or debit card. If you use a credit card to send money, a fee of 3.4% + 20p applies"
If the sender uses a credit card to send money then there is a fee of 3.4% + 20p - but that applies to the sender not the receiver.

That section only applies to gift payments sent to family members or friends.
It does not apply to goods / services payments when you sell and accept paypal payments.
So can you clarify if it was f/f or g/s payments.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
