Why can't I receive money in Nigeria

Someone sent money to me I got a mail notifying me of the money but checked my wallet and didn't see it then the sender called me to ask why I returned the money......the money was returned to her please what could be the problem with my PayPal account?

Nigeria is a send only country, this means you can use your PayPal account to pay for goods/services but you would be unable to receive funds into your PayPal account balance.
