I want to send money to my family that live in Malaysia I want to send using my PayPal balance, and I didn't not link any card to my account,but do I still need to add funding source? Cannot I just use my PayPal balance?

If you have money in your PayPal balance you can use this to make a payment. If you don't have financial information on your account, however, it makes it more likely that our security system will stop the payment. We recommend having a confirmed bank or card on your PayPal account in order to increase security and to make it easier to send money.
