My wife works as a freelancer and her client is in South America, so they send monthly paypal payments from Argentina to UK in USD. So the fees today was in total $15.9 for a $300 and it is 5.3%.
It is clear for me they are funding this by credit card and the transaction is considered as personal.
I would like to reduce this fees as it cuts my sallary by 5.3% and I still have to pay more 3% to convert to GBP. Is there any immediate solution? I'm not willing to drop paypal, but wasting around 8% of my net income before taxes is too much.
