I am trying to send a payment to a family member using the family option. I have done this in the past with no issues however today its saying I have a 9p fee?? Anyone know why? I have checked the funding options as I know there is a fee with debit cards but im using my bank account and the payment is staying in the UK? Am I missing something?
If you are using instant bank transfer and not a debit card and its not a cross border transaction then you should not be charged a fee.
All i can think of is does the person you are sending it to have a UK paypal account as well as being in the UK and are you sending the payment in sterling?

Hi, thanks for reply - yes, instant bank transfer, yes I checked with her - UK PayPal & yes she's in the uk & I'm sending sterling. That's why I'm confused. Going to contact PayPal & find out as I can't see any reason at all why there's a charge.
