PayPal refused payment but money has still come off my account

Hello,

I have just tried purchasing something online using my paypal account. I had £0.00 in my paypal account so funds come from my debit card. When I clicked send payment I was sent to an Error page saying there is a problem. However the money has still come off my bank account. Any ideas?

Welcome to the Community Forum!

That seems strange. If the payment doesn't appear as Completed in the transaction history of your PayPal account, no funds should have been taken, unless they were temporarily placed on hold by your bank. Did you check with them?
