Online Company claiming they haven't received payment

Hi Guys

 

Just wanted to see if anyone else has had this experience and what the outcome was.

 

I currently run a website which I pay for the hosting by PayPal. I noticed the site went offline and contacted the provider to ask why. They then claimed that they had been unable to collect the payment from my PayPal account and so had suspended my service.

 

Looking back on my transactions I can see the payment has been made. Its clearly there on my statement for the full amount yet they claim they haven't been able to collect it. This is a fairly popular and large company and they are now threatening a third party collection notice if I don't pay them.

 

I've sent them a screenshot of the transaction to prove it left my account but they are still chasing it. Any ideas/advice?
