Not allowing me to change currency being sent

 Hi there!,

I hope someone can help me with this strange problem. I'm trying to pay for something in USD (Which is not my native currency nor the currency I have the most of in my account) My primary currency is GBP. When I try to select USD in the drop down menu everything starts to process fine. I enter the amount and click continue at which point the currency is changed back to GBP. I try to change it back to usd, which it lets me do but once I click continue the same thing occurs.

It may be due to the fact the USD itself will be converted into PHP upon arriving at its intended destination but honestly im at a loss of how to fix it.

Not sure i understand you completely but if you are using funds in your paypal balance then they must be in the currency of the person you are paying.

You can change your currency by clicking on the balance > manage currencies (fees will apply).
