I entered my debit card number, is this enough to buy things from people? If I buy something from someone (discogs.com) and they want PayPal as the service to complete the transaction, is having my debit card on there enough for them to receive my money, or must I link a bank account?

A card is fine for quite a long while but at some stage when you reach your sending limits you will be asked to add a bank account to continue.
