This is weird and super annoying. I worked almost a whole day for a client on their website and for that he wanted to send me a $25 tip via Paypal.
1) I gave him my email (@live.com) which is one of the 4 emails addresses in my paypal account (but not the primary one):

2) He sent the money to that address and I received the email from Paypal that I need to claim the money (that was weird, I never had to "claim" it before):

3) I click the click and login to my paypal email just to get this message:
http://i.gyazo.com/2ce32ed6c9b812d96266f040c28eec58.png
this does not make any sense because I already logged in with my PRIMARY paypal email address.
4) Just to make sure, I went to my paypal email and set the email where the money was sent to, as my PRIMARY one:

I went back and clicked the link to claim my money and then logged in again, this time with the email the money was sent to. Again got the same error message.
5) I then removed that email from PRIMARY and tried to delete it from my paypal account so I could add it again in hopes that it would resolve the issue.
I got this error:
http://i.gyazo.com/edb64632515f3c8b1ba9528af3f1e735.png so I can't even remove the email from paypal account.
I am in Europe and can't afford to make phone calls to Paypal UK or USA.
Phone call is not an option here.
QUESTIONS:
1) What to do?
2) Is that a bug or what? (please don't just say "no" right away if you don't know the exact solution)
3) I have receivde payments by email many times in the past but never had to "claim" the money, they just appeared in my account. Why do I have to "claim" it this time?

UPDATE:
This case is resolved. I called Paypal and they suggested that I ask the sender to cancel the transaction and send the money again. I did so, and this second time the money went straight to my account.
Thanks Paypal support for the prompt and helphul reply via phone (I used Skype free 1-month trial membership to call since I am not from Ireland).
