Accidentally sent a payment

Accidentally sent a payment to myself via my mobile but typed in the wrong number. What do I do now?

I’m sorry to hear this.

In this situation you should have an option to cancel the transaction if it’s still unclaimed. However in case of any challenges I would recommend you contacting our Customer Support by clicking onto Contact us on any PayPal page as they will be able to review your account and provide you with the best course of action.

Hey Lollyjayne,

Thanks for the update.

If you can try going to the Activity page on your account, you should be able to see if the payment has completed processing or you will see if the payment is showing Unclaimed.

If the payment is showing Unclaimed, you should be able to click Details beside the transaction and then cancel the payment on the next page.
