i have someone asking to buy a product im selling for his boss, and he wants it sending to west africa.
im new to this so can anyone advise me to what details i need to protect myself as the item is of conciderable value.
i just dont want to lose the item and see nothing for it!
can anyone advise me on the subject

If it's something of significant value the first thing is to find a reliable courier who will deliver to the address supplied, show trackable information online, including signature and area of delivery, as well as supplying a proof of postage with this information.
It would probably be worth your time reading the exact terms of the PayPal seller protection policy on the PayPal website while you're at it (section 11). At a very basic level just be sure not to post the payment to any address other than the one supplied in the transaction details.
