Selling a "personal" product to businesses

Hi there,

I am selling a product designed for an "end customer" on my website. However, every now and then a business will purchase the product. (The product is an online learning course). This leads to difficulty in terms of VAT etc. Because I sell my product through Paypal, there does not seem to be any easy way for the buyer to distinguish themselves between an 'end customer' and a 'business customer' and hence provide their VAT information and trading address.

Is there a simple way around this without making the checkout process tedious for regular 'end customers' who make up the vast proportion of purchases?

Thanks in advance!
