How to use paypal donation button on a profit website which have ads running

Hi,

I want  to embed paypal donation button to my website www.oxygentimes.com which is not a nonprofit website (as far as I know).

So I want to know whether I can do that or not?

Case 1-If yes, then please tell me the process

Case 2-Else please explain the alternative method to recieve a amount from the same website through paypal payment gateway.

In both cases, is it necessary to have a paypal account for the payer?

Please explain the whole procedure if possible.

Thanks for posting on the Community Forum about this.

You should certainly be able to add a PayPal donation button to your website. Here's how to do this:

1. Go to www.paypal.com and log in to your account.
2. Click Merchant Services at the top of the page.
3. Click 'Create payment buttons for your website'.
4. Select 'Donations' under 'Choose a button type'.
5. Follow the instructions and click 'Create Button'.
6. Copy and paste the donation button code into your website code.
