Hi there,
I have recently sold a non eBay listed item, the buyer contacted me yesterday saying it arrived damaged in the post and he either wants a full refund or £15 back (He paid £42 inc P&P). He said he's "paid over the odds" - but he was happy to pay the price quoted.
The item was in brand new condition and packaged well, so I have no idea how it could be damaged. What rights does the seller actually have? Do I basically issue a full refund and am now stuck with a damaged item (it was a boxed Pop vinyl figure)? He could've already had the damaged figure and send me that one back and keep the brand new one I sent...
Either way, I presume I will lose out now?
