Does anyone if I would need to upgrade my paypal account if I were to sell my book on ebay?

To sell you need a business account but if you are not a registered UK business then select the "individual" option when you upgrade.
It happens. Hit the "Login to Ask the community" button to create a question for the PayPal community.
