recieving payment via paypal

I've sold something on eBay and the buyer what's to pay via PayPal using card. They said I need to change something in my settings but not sure what to do?

Can someone please advise?

If you are selling on a personal account then that could be a problem as you can't accept card funded payments to personal accounts.

This is because you are not really allowed to sell on a personal account, they are for paying sellers or sending / receiving money from family / friends using the personal payment option.

So if you are selling on a personal account you need to upgrade to a business account but as you are probably not a UK registered business then you just select the "individual" option whilst upgrading.
