Hey calicobuterfly,

I actually had the exact same problem on my personal account and clearing the cookies and cache worked for me with no problems. Below is how to do this for Internet Explorer and Mozilla as I'm not sure what browser you use.

Clearing Cache and Cookies in Internet Explorer:

1. Open an Internet Explorer browser window.
2. Click ‘Tools’ at the top of the page.
3. Select ‘Internet Options’ from the drop down menu.
4. On the General tab, click the ‘Delete Files’ and ‘Delete Cookies’ buttons in the Temporary Internet Files section.
5. This will delete all the files currently stored in your cache and cookies.

Clearing Cache and Cookies for Mozilla browser:

1. Open a new Mozilla Firefox browser window.
2. Click 'Tools' at the top of the page.
3. Click ‘Clear Private Data’ from the drop down menu.
4. Checkmark the data you wish to remove.
5. Click Clear ‘Private Data Now’.

I hope this information helps you

I would like to see an enhancement where my list of contacts that appear in the To: field when sending a payment can be maintained/organized.  Clearing my cache isn't sufficient - I may not want to clear my entire cache just to clean up a few contacts, and I want to be able to do other things such as add contacts before I actually make a payment, sort contacts in a different order, group contacts in various sub-groups, etc.

Most online applications that involve a large number of contacts have functionality for maintaining that list of contacts.  My Android PayPal app at least selects email addresses from my gmail account contact list.  I'm surprised that the only contact list maintenance functionality available at www.paypal.com is to delete all contacts by clearing one's cache.

Thanks,

agreed with 3rd poster! the majority of my contacts are sellers I have purchased from once over the last several years. clearing my cache didn't resolve this issue.

Here is a new way to do it:

Go to the Home Page

Click "Manage Invoices" on left side under SELLING TOOLS

Click "Settings" on top tab -  drop down box appears

Click "Address Book"

There you see a list of all the pople you have been sending money to.

Click a name then click DELETE.  Have to do for each name.

For the ones you want to keep, click name and EDIT.  Tag them with a familiar name
