I sold an item on Ebay's Global shipping Programme and the buyer has tried to pay, but i forgot to change my email address to accept Paypal payment to when listing the item. I don't have access to this old email address any more.
The payment is now showing simply as "initiated" on Paypal.
I spoke to Ebay and they told me to get the buyer to cancel the payment and then to re-list the item on Ebay as a Buy it now at the price the buyer originally won the auction and get them to purchase it again. Is this really the easiest way to resolve this?
It complicates things that this is sold under the Global shipping programme, i am unsure how a payment is dealt with, i assume when the buyer makes the payment Ebay take off the overseas shipping costs and pay me the remainder?
