Someone brought runescape gold from me off eBay and now is claimed a unauthorised purchase claim.

Hi guys, i need some help as in order to respond to the cliam i need to give tracking information. however i cant do this due to the item being digital goods. this sort of cliam is a common scam and need help responding. i tried calling customer service but a robot cant understand the situation im currently going through. please help. i have proof that i sent it to him through the game.

An unauthorised transaction means that the account holders paypal account was hacked and used without his consent.

So if paypal agree that this was the case then of course the account holder needs their money back.

However you would not lose out as long as you met all the requirements of seller protection as paypal would reimburse you.

Unfortunately there is NO paypal seller protection for digital / virtual items.
