Pending refund

I sent someone a refund today but for some reason it says pending ? Whenever I've refunded someone before it goes straight through....could it be because they maybe paid from a bank account instead of a paypal account ?

Hi evski,

I hope you have you refund by now but I wanted to give you some information on this. 

When you make a payment with your bank account we send the money immediately but we have to wait up to 7 working days for it to arrive from our bank. This normally doesn't matter but if you are refunded before then we don't have the funds to give them back to you. What happens then is that the refund is put on hold until the money arrives from the bank. As soon as it does it is added to your PayPal account balance.
