PayPal fees - explain please

Hi

Ive sold a few items on eBay and payment has gone into my PayPal account. A fee has come off this payment so I pay fees to eBay and also PayPal for the sale, is this correct? And if so what is the percentage? Please. Thanks

Yes it is correct that you will pay fees to both eBay and PayPal . eBay fees pay for listing the item on their website. PayPal fees will cover you for using PayPal as a secure payment processor and for the Seller Protection we offer. The standard processing fee is 3.40% + £0.20p, more information on fees can be found on the PayPal website by clicking on the "Fees" tab at the bottom of the PayPal page.
