I received an email saying the buyer sent the money but it doesn't figure in my PayPal account

I received an email from the buyer via PayPal saying the buyer had paid into my PayPal account, but it does not figure in my account... Please help!!

A bit more info on the transaction would help, no can can advise on the small amount of info you have given.
