How long do Paypal hold my money, received positive feedback?

I sold an item over ebay and delivered the item in person but requested the money over paypal. He has the item I sold and has left positive feedback yet the money is pending still. Any idea how long I will have to wait or what I have to do to receive it faster.

Why would you accept paypal for an item that is collected?? Its the only time that ebay allow you to refuse paypal and accept cash on collection. That way you would have cash in hand and no paypal fees !!!!

Positive feedback does not count for payment release.

Normally its released when tracking shows the item as delivered to the buyer + 3 days.

But as you can't supply tracking you may well have to wait the full 21 days.
