How do I pay someone who has given me their email address?

To send money:

1. Go to www.paypal.com/uk and log in to your account.
2. Click Send & Request at the top of the page.
3. Depending on your preference, select Pay for goods or services or Send money to friends or family.
4. Enter the email address or phone number of the intended recipient and click Next.
5. Select the currency and amount and click Continue.
6. Review the details and confirm Send Money Now.

If you are sending money to make a purchase, ensure that you choose the goods and services option to protect yourself in the event that something goes wrong. You will find more information on our buyer protection by clicking 'security' at the bottom of any PayPal page.
