recently posted 760,000 coins on ebay and they were bought for £60 then as soon as i gave the coins to the buyer over playstation he reported that someone else had used his account and the money in my paypal account was refunded and left me with no money and no item ebay says get the police involve so does paypal investigation and so does citizens advice but i have none the deal was instant over the playstation game for a player

This is a common occurence when you sell digital / virtual goods.

Unfortunately neither ebay or paypal can help you as there is no seller protection on either site for virtual items.

They only cover you for items sent trackable in the post that proves delivery of the item to the buyer. 

You are welcome to sell virtual items via paypal but it is at your own risk.
