I'm trying to connect my ebay to my pay pal account and it wont let me as it says I need to bring my account into good standing in order to do this. What am I doing wrong?

It sounds like there may be a limitation on your PayPal account which would prevent you from linking your eBay and PayPal account. Generally, the relevant team always lists the steps to remove the limitation in the Resolution Centre. Have you seen/completed them?
