Do I need to pay back a negative balance from an ebay request?

Hello

Today somebody opened a request against me on ebay after they had not recieved the item. Now, paypal have taken £15 from my paypal leaving me with a -£15 balance. Hopefully, the buyer should recieve the item in a few days so he can then close the request. My question is, do I need to pay off the negative balance before I get the money back, or will I be alright owing payal the money for a while until I get my money back which will resolve the negative balance?

If u lose the case u will have to pay the neg balance back but u cant do anything until the case is closed. It will stay neg until paid

If they do receive the item in a few days and close the case then your balance will no longer be neg
