I send the majority of my ebay parcels through Royal Mail by printing my postage through PayPal. Nearly all my items are sent 2nd class small parcel. ALL UK parcels now have a tracking number regardless of the service used. However I've noticed 2 different tracking number formats for these parcels when using the same service (2nd class small parcel) printed in the same way.
First format: 040033F094F whichs works on the Royal Mail track and trace page
Second format: PBAA0014137001 which does not work ("Sorry - we don't recognise that reference number.")
Why the difference and how can I track the second number format?
