Balance pending

My fiancé has used my pay pal account to sell on eBay. The funds have arrived in my pay pal but are pending. Neither of us are new to eBay so I am wondering why they are on hold

Has your fiance sold on ebay before using your paypal account?

Only if not then he would be classed as a new seller.
