spoof@paypal.com auto-responses

I just want to know if auto-responses are all that I will receive when I forward suspicious emails. Does anybody actually read those emails and decide whether to add to the collection/record of fraud tricks?

Welcome to the Community!

I can confirm that we do have actual human beings reading submissions that are made to spoof@paypal.com.  To maximize the amount of emails we can review (as you can imagine, we receive quite a few!), those agents have several pre-generated responses they can select from.  This allows them to move through as many emails as possible as quickly as possible - that way, if you were unsure about an emails authenticity, you receive a response as soon as possible.

Thanks!

Adrian
