why is my account suspended?

hello: I received a notification for account limitation because my account is linked to unresolved account, how does that work? the emailed stated: 

We're unable to continue processing payments for this account

We strive to provide our customers with seamless and user-friendly payments solutions. Unfortunately, sometimes we can't process activity for a variety of reasons, including local laws, our policies, or the policies of our partner banks and card networks.

Based on the information we have today, it looks like this account was linked to another PayPal account with unresolved issues.

What can I currently do with my account?

Unfortunately, at this time most of your account features have been deactivated.

We may hold any funds in your account for up to 180 day(s) to cover things like chargebacks or other financial liabilities. We'll review the account periodically to see if we can release any remaining funds sooner. We'll email you the outcome of each review.

You can still view your transaction history, download account statements, or request copies of your data.

If you had a previous account that had limitations or unresolved issues then you are not allowed to open a new account until those issues have been resolved. Also you are only allowed x2 paypal accounts if x1 is personal and the other x1 is business, if you have 2 of the same type you risk them both being limited.

This account is not connected to any other account is my first time creating an account. I have used this account for a while and I not encounter such a challenge .

Then it could be an account held by someone in your family / under the same IP address for example.

However for more information only customer services can help you.

 

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
