unrecognised transaction to Facebook adverts in Vietnam

I received an email from PayPal with a new automatic transaction which is set to reaccur each month for €150 to Facebook ads. I have never had a facebook account, nor have I logged in to PayPal in 2 weeks. I have recently updated my new debit card on paypal and removed the old one about 1 month ago. I called paypal about 2 weeks ago to get a refund on a £20 item that was sent by paypal to an old address that I previously removed from paypal many months ago. I called and spoke to someone in vietnam I believe. It seems that paypal employees are likely responsible for this transaction. I contacted paypal to dispute the transaction and they replied by saying "We've completed our review of your unauthorised activity case and we've determined there was no unauthorised use." Should I contact my bank for a charge back as PayPal is obviously not safe and do not want to accept there is Freud happening to me and my money is being stolen??

Hello @ReginaldHarri,

Welcome to PayPal Community Forum and thank you for posting!

I am sorry to know about the unrecognize transaction from Facebook on your PayPal account and I do understand that you are not happy about the outcome of the unauthorized claim. In this situation, your best option would be to reach our team by clicking the contact us option at the bottom of the PayPal page or sending us a message through our Twitter(@AskPayPal) and Facebook page to get a second look at the decision.

Best Wishes,

Ayesha
