I was scammed in instagram for a bicycle giveaway,.. the website linked was also a fraud the scammers took it down afterwards,.. I had to send $100 in order get my bicycle supoosedly shipped.. but i had to pay via paypal.. i paid using paypal... after some investigation I concluded it was a campaign using fake giveaways and a fraudelant website just to make it look legit. I never got my bike and I wanted my refund ,.. They told me to send the money to sarah leahman... I contacted her and she said she did not know or received any bicycle. So back to paypal the took a month to review and than they told me I cant get my refund because it was a legit transaction... and they removed all the messages too...

I should i proceed ,.. everyone telling to charge back should i do it? or give paypal another chance??

That's odd because if you paid using goods/services and raised a dispute for non receipt of item you would normally win if the seller didn't provide trackable proof of delivery of the item to you.

Did you escalate to a claim?

You did open a dispute for non receipt of item didn't you?
