paddle deducting money

Paddle.com deducted money from my debit card for a unknown transaction I did not make.

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product and forget to cancel. As a buyer you must agree to a billing agreement/subscription before a merchant can take a payment from your PayPal account.

If you don't notice during checkout OR don't cancel then it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''

I had cancelled a subscription before finishing a trial. It sent me a message on my email that my subscription is cancelled, but still I got a deduction from my debit card.

Once subscribed keep an eye on your preapproved payments in case the company re-adds it.

Also I would contact your debit card issuer and see if they can cancel it on their end.

Unfortunately if it is in your pre-approved payments then paypal will pay it as per your instructions (inadvertently or not).

me too! **bleep**! I did NOT subscribe! 

There is a number you can call, [Removed], but only 9-5 or 10-4 UK time or something.

Evil. How do they know my paypal ? Scary!

Can't call Paypal till tomorrow! There is a stupid robot now and it does not understand anything I say.

Awful.

I also found a weird website that says it helps with Paypal issues. Is that real though. Never seen it before!
