lost a dispute and buyer didn't return my item

I sold a vinyl worth of 160$ and the buyer immediately opened up a dispute. He then posted pictures of damaged sleeves but didn't show full pics because mine was hand numbered, if I don't see the number I can't tell if its mine. That guy plays dead though out the whole dispute.

Now I received his return and it is not what I have sold to him, its some random vinyl worth probably less than 10$.
I immediately sends pictures to resolution center hoping they will help me get my items back, and 10 mins later the case is closed in favor of buyer. AND I WAS CHARGED FOR LOSING THE DISPUTE. WTF??

I Can't file appeal because the button does not appear at the bottom of the case.

Will paypal support team sees this post and please just take a few minute to check the case, I been constantly messaging the buyer and he does not reply at all. He doesn't even return the item I sold, its obviously a scammer, why did they favor in buyer??????  SO **bleep**

Unfortunately its one persons word against another.

If every time a buyer wins a claim and returns an item the seller says item was not what was sent (so the buyer was not refunded), then it would make the dispute process pointless.

Your best bet is to file in a small claims court or similar if you have that option in your country OR put it down to one of the risks of online selling.
