How can I appeal the case that was closed, I don't see that option anywhere. I can't find an option to contact anyone in Paypal via messaging or any other method. The chat bot assistant is not helpful either.

You can only appeal if you have new information not available to paypal at the time that they made their original decision.

If you do then contact customer services and appeal?

Contact options for each countries Paypal customer services are accessed by clicking help/contact bottom left of Paypal pages.

1. Paypal phones (you can use the guest option if you can't log in).
2. Live chat is also randomly available.
3. You can send them a message, (during business hours you may also be able to message whilst logged out).
4. Have you considered contacting Customer Service via Facebook or Twitter?
You can send them a private direct message via Social Media on Facebook, Twitter/X, or Instagram pages.

thanks for your reply. Unfortunately I don't see an option to appeal my case. Status is closed and the only option available is to VIEW. There is no option to message anyone from the message Center (I had this option before). I do not have any social media and I am not looking to call them. The chat bot is just sending me links to the articles on how I can appeal my case listing the options that are not visible for me. I really don't know what to do. I have paypal for a long time and I remember the times when you were able to simply sent them a message in many different ways and now it seems that you are just left without any help and option to contact them at all.... Is paypal still safe I wonder

There is not a click appeal option, you have to contact customer services within 10 days of the close of the case to appeal it.

I gave you all the options to contact them, if you don't have any of the options or don't want to use them then that's your call.

The options you gave me are either not available or not possible for me to use. What happened to simple option to use message center. Now it looks like are just hiding in some maze behind social media and chat bots ect... I remember the times when it was just straight forward ans safe. Now it really doesn't look like it is safe since you have to go to unimaginable trouble to try to contact them....

I did, but I'll repeat again, that I do not see that option wither logged in or logged out.

Just clicked on the message option in my personal paypal account and can easily send a message.

Click on the bell icon next to profile and log out in your paypal account.

I wouldn't post options if they were not there.

Honestly, I wouldn't be asking if that was working there. Like I said, message center is not working. When I click on the bell I can only see some notifications from pay pal and no option to contact anyone through there... I remember this option was there before, same as simply an option to appeal/re-open the case in the resolution center, but now none of it is there and from what I have checked it is impossible to contact anyone. I wouldn't be asking if I had all those options available like I had them back in the day....Can anyone help me to understand this? Am I the only one who can't message them?
