I haven't used my PayPal account for some years, and I don't have any money in it. Also, I didn't connect it to any bank or credit card. I want to cancel the account, but unfortunately, it is limited, so I can't cancel it. To uplift the limitation, I need to provide a Residency Address proof document. The problem is that my account's Address is in Italy, but I've been living abroad for some years now. I can't change the account's address to another address outside Italy, and I can't provide any proof of residency at the old address because I'm not living in Italy anymore. But I still want to cancel my account.
How can I resolve this?

Doubt you can, you should have closed the account before leaving Italy.
All you can do is see if customer services can close it for you?
