account limitations right after setting up

Hi,

we created a paypal account for our sanctuary. Right after that it got permanently limited. We uploaded proof of our nonprofit status, it was lifted after that. Once we added bank account and confirm card it got limited again. No one is answering our questions - just the same automated email "your accoun is permanently limited". Resolve center is of no use, there is just the same text.

Can anyone help us?

Thanks

Please let me know if you get this resolved, same thing happened to me- I am 78 and my friend have just sent part of my rent money, I live in a retirement community and am on a limited income- and they permanently limited my account. My daughter helps me with all technological things, she said they were inquiring about a card I used that had no name... well it was an Egift card from inbox dollars, lol, and I told them that and sent pics of my id and the card , but still limited....they had sent two verification requests and I only saw the one, I didn't even have time to fill out the other as they shut my account down next day: I can't get hold of anyone and have sent a million messages. I NEED this money as my rent is late and it is HALF of it. I can't wait 180 days, this mistake( basically) on their part may cause me to be homeless. There must be something I can do....

Hi @James4422

Thank you for contacting the PayPal Community Forum, and welcome as a new member!

I am sorry to hear this. Your question is very account specific, and we would be unable to tell you why this has happened over a public forum. I would suggest contacting us via Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/PayPal/, Twitter - @AskPayPal., chat or phone and we would be happy to advise.

I've tried the chat and I get no reply. I'm 80 I don't have a Facebook or twitter. I guess I'll have to call but it's hard for me to understand even the technological language or explain the situation. Would my daughter or son be able to assist in the phone? I'd rather chat first then call but I can't get a response in chat. I'm really despairing, it may only be 300 but that's half my rent and on my social security I can't afford to replace it or wait 6 months.
