I had a seller talked me into sending $200 as a friend to their PayPal account for a refrigerator. No refrigerator and they are ghosting me. How can I get their contact information so that I can make a police report. I doubt that I'll ever see my money but I sure would like th police to know all of their information. All I have is their email address. Thanks
As it was a gift payment so you don't have any buyer protection then all the information paypal can give you is what you already have.
Not sure the police would be interested in a civil matter but if you make a report then the police would have to contact customer services for more information.
