All i can say is wow. Ive tried uploading documents of proof of where my funds came from and do everything i can ive called numerous times and wrote emails but paypal has blocked my account for 6 months to be able to withdraw my 1500 dollars balance and whats funny is i asked the paypal rep. On the phone well how am i supposed to pay my bills and pay back purchaser's. She implied that i could make another paypal account under a different email address... ok so you mean to tell me i violated your user tos but yet i can just go create a new account and its all good dont worry about your 1500 for 6 months because hey if they do that to a couple hundred thousand people they got a nice little percentage coming back.. now if i did something so horrible i could understand but trying to transfer my own money to my own bank account now im in financial hardship because of these funds being held for 180 days wow... merry chriatmas to me if i dont off myself first thanks paypal..

The reps incorrect, if its a permanent ban and 'you' can no longer use paypal then its a ban on you and any paypal account that you open will be limited as well unfortunately.

If you have been told your Paypal account has been permanently limited then Paypal tends to hold any funds for 180 days. This is the same time frame that buyers have to open Paypal disputes.

If no disputes are opened in 180 days then normally you are allowed to withdraw the funds. That is as long as you are over 18, the account is in your legal name and registered in the country where you reside.

Sometimes they confiscate funds under this policy.

Paypal also may request further documentation from you before you can withdraw those funds.

Kudos / Solution appreciated.

On October 15th I accidentally updated my account to a business account and it said that there was a 180 day limitation placed on my account on top of the limitation that was already on my account after this matter happened I called PayPal and they said that it was done by error and to call at the end of ny first limitation on the Nov 8th. First off I did nothing wrong to make a limitation on my account in the first place but deposit 1478 dollars to my account which was obviously a huge mistake.. now it is Nov 8th and I call like the lady told me to do if I hadn't recieved the email and now I'm told I have to wait an additional 180 days which is totally incorrect based on what the lady told me when I called on October 15th when the mistake was done to place an additional hold on my account. I'm asking for help on this matter please
