I recently filed a claim against a local business for work not performed correctly. The business never responded to the case and I won judgement by PayPal. Now I'm being sued in small claims court by the owner of the business and for more money than I received back. Does anyone know of any rules/information regarding a situation like this? I don't personally see how I'm liable for this money when PayPal decided the case. Thanks for any help!

A paypal claim does not mean that the other party can't pursue legal action after that claim has been awarded.
Advice is voluntary.
Kudos / Solution appreciated.
