Why did Paddle.net charged me?

Good evening. On the evening of 23-04-2024 i was charge by some site for the amount of 123,36 euros for NordVPN 1-year sub. Of couse i wanted my money back and i opened a case. Paypal responded with this: 

Case Status:Closed
Thank you for reporting this case. After our review, we found that certain transactions weren't unauthorized and hence couldn't be covered by PayPal Purchase Protection.
On the paddle.net site my status for the payment is canceled. (they have auto responses on their chat saying they will not refund me)
Same goes for the NORDVPN site. (the assisast there told me to ask paypal for refund)
But my money is nowhere to be found and reported.
What i can do?

Check if you had a subscription set up and cancel it?
Click on the profile tab (icon next to log out) > Click on payments third option along on the thick blue band top of page > "manage pre-approved payments.''
