I have had the exact same experience, in Aug 22 I had 2 payments taken one for £47.99 the other for £42.99 I queried and they were refunded I cancelled all preapproved future payments then low and behold another 3 payments came out! This time it wa[Removed. Phone #s not permitted]5th Oct and £49.99 9th Oct! I have only just noticed as I no longer use my paypal yet Paypal have said the payment is not unauthorised.... Its ridiculous especially as the payment has gone up and I have no idea what it is for

Digital river is an ecommerce payment company. They don't fraudulently take your money. They partner with companies like Samsung, Microsoft, razr, McAfee, avast, etc. If you buy from those websites, your charge may show up as from digital river. They also handle subscriptions. A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product, like anti virus, and forget to cancel and it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

yes the are! TOTALLY TAKING FRAUDULENT MONEY, According to thier website “proud of disrupting e-commerce”! AVG the original billing entity had no ID.

Hello. Has anyone encountered a bill from your credit card coming from paypal (digital river) but the transaction does not appear in my paypal acct? My credit card is not also link in my paypal. Tried to file a dispute but iys hard because its not in my activity

A lot of times what happens is people accept a free trial for a product, like anti virus, and forget to cancel and it auto renews. Be careful what you are accepting.

If you bought something online with a debit or credit card and didn't log into your Paypal account then of course it won't show on that Paypal account because you bought as a guest buyer.
However your seller may have processed that payment using their Paypal 'card reader' and so Paypal would show on your bank or card statement.

been fighting them! its not working right and paypal does not behave like a bank in this matter ( helpful) somehow they do not want to refund

Three years ago I subscribe to digital River Ireland and to get an Internet protection from intruders. They turn to be the worst company I ever subscribe to within the months. I asked to unsubscribe to one and they told me that I’m going to have to stay for the whole year And just to cancel the renewal when it comes ! I did cancel the renewal  and been promise that my subscriptions been cancelled, today, August 29, 2023. I learned that they charge me for the year 2022 and 2023 for services that I already cancel or are all I’m asking is to delete the company from my database that PayPal will never make payments on my behalf to them ever they such a liars . Thank you Abe 13.

Sorry,but being 74 years old I'm a bet slow , where do I look for a subscriptions to cancel in, I did that before on digital river Ireland,should I go on there web site and do that ?

Try reading, it helps, and I have just turned 70 so not sure what your age has to do with anything.
